A hair transplant at Kosmoderma restores natural hair by moving healthy grafts from the donor area to thinning zones. Using advanced FUE/FUT techniques, we recreate a natural hairline and add lasting density. Doctor-led planning and precise graft placement ensure natural results with minimal scarring and a personalized recovery plan.

Like good health and youth, most of us take our hair for granted until it’s gone. For many people, a hair transplant can help restore what looks like a full, or at least a fuller, head of hair.
A hair transplant is a type of surgery that moves hair you already have to fill areas with thin or no hair. Doctors have performed these transplants since the 1950s, but techniques have changed significantly in recent years.
There are two methods for harvesting. In follicular unit strip surgery (FUSS), a doctor removes a band of hair-covered skin from the lower back of your scalp. (Hair in this part of the scalp is less likely to fall out, making it a good site for “donating” hair to bare portions of the scalp.) Tiny “grafts” of hair are dissected from this strip. In follicular unit extraction (FUE), the surgeon takes your grafts directly from the donor site using a small tool called a micro punch.
After a doctor harvests enough grafts, they use a small blade to make micro incisions in the portion of your scalp that is bald or has thinning hair. The surgeon then plants a graft in each incision.

Women often experience diffuse thinning, a widened parting, or hair loss after childbirth or hormonal changes. Hair transplant addresses focal thinning, restores density, and improves part fullness. Female hairline design focuses on softness and natural distribution.
Men usually seek a hair transplant for male pattern baldness, receding hairline, or crown thinning. We plan graft placement to match age, face shape, and future hair loss. Results aim for a masculine, natural hairline and fuller crown.
Our doctor assesses the scalp, donor reserve, and overall health. We plan the graft count and technique (FUE or FUT). Follow pre-op instructions to reduce bleeding and improve healing. Clear communication sets realistic goals and timelines.
Under local anesthesia (±sedation), the surgeon harvests donor grafts and implants them precisely. Teamed technicians assist with graft handling to maximize survival. Comfort measures and sterile technique are maintained throughout.
We dress the donor area and give post-op instructions. Mild swelling and scabs are normal and settle in days to weeks. Follow-up visits ensure graft health and address concerns. Hair sheds and then regrows from transplanted follicles over months.

Local anesthesia keeps you comfortable. Mild soreness may occur after the procedure and is managed with medication.

Transplanted hair often sheds in weeks, then regrows. Expect visible regrowth by 3–6 months and major improvement by 9–12 months.
FUE leaves tiny dot scars that are usually hard to detect. FUT leaves a linear scar that fades and can be hidden by hair.
